When the drop-down list of suggestions appear, you can highlight an entry by pressing the down arrow key. Press Shift-Delete to remove the highlighted entry from the list.
To add a drop-down list to a Word document, go to Options Customize Ribbon and enable the Developer tab. Open the Developer tab and click the Drop-Down List Content Control button to insert a drop-down button. You can customize the drop-down box by clicking Properties.

In the Display name box, type the text that you want to display for this entry, and then click OK. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each entry that you want to add to the list box.
