Press CTRL+1. In the Format Cells box, click the Number tab. In the Category list, click Date, and then choose a date format you want in Type.
On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Date Time. In the Date and time dialog box, select the format you want. Select the Update automatically check box. The date is inserted as a field and will update automatically.
If the Controls task pane is not visible, click More Controls on the Insert menu, or press ALT+I, C. Under Insert controls, click Date Picker. In the Date Picker Binding dialog box, select the field in which you want to store the date picker data, and then click OK.
In the Select a Field or Group dialog box, click dteToday, and then click OK. Click the second instance of double click to insert field, press DELETE, and then type the number of days that you want to add to the current date. For example, if you wanted to add 30 days to todays date, you would type 30.
