hello everyone my name is geek I am going to show you how to add different doodles in our document in this training is divided into three parts first creating new sections second adding page number with the section titles the last part are linking the footers now you should have your word document open to add different footers you need to create a new section by placing the cursor at the bottom of the first page then go to the page Layout tab in the pasted up section click the breaks icon and choose continuous we can add information on the footers by double click on the footer area of the first page go to the toolbar in the header and footer sections click page number icon and select bottom of page and then to plain number one to add the page number on footer area you should see the cursor in front of the page number one type key fat for the section title then place tap button twice on the keyboard to move the page number to the right footer area now you should see the further area of

On the Review menu, select Combine Documents. In the Original document list, select one version of the document. In the Revised document list, browse to the other version of the document, and then select OK. Changes from the revised copy are merged into a new copy that is based on the original version of the document.
If you notice the page count starts over, it could be because you set up a section break with a different number scheme. You can remove the section break, but theres an alternative. To make the page numbers continuous: Click on the page with the incorrect number, then go to Insert Page Number Format Page Numbers.
Remove all headers and footers Go to Insert Header or Footer, and then select Remove Header or Remove Footer. If your document has more than one section, repeat this process for each section.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and double-click on your footer. It should now read Footer -Section 2-. Click on Link to Previous in the ribbon. This button should be deselected to ensure that the footers are different in each section.

Unlink Headers and Footers From Previous Sections Click anywhere in the header or footer. Go to the Header Footer tab, then click Link To Previous to turn off the link. Type a new header or footer for this section. Now unlinked, it functions independently of the previous ones.
Click on Object (over to the right). Select Text from File.Merging Documents with Different Page Numbers Click on the top of the new page. Click on Insert in the top blue bar. Click on Page Number. Click on Format Page Number and change the Number format to be Arabic numerals (1,2,3).
