How does Survey123 work?
ArcGIS Survey123 is a complete, form-centric solution for creating, sharing, and analyzing surveys. Use it to create forms with skip logic, defaults, and support for multiple languages. Collect data using web or mobile devices, even when disconnected from the internet.
Can you use Survey123 without an account?
No, you do not need to sign in or create sign in details to use the Survey123 app. After downloading and opening the Survey123 app, you should see the screen featured on the left. The text at the bottom of the screen that says Continue without signing in is what you want to click.

Does field maps replace Survey123?
While there is some overlap in form capabilities, there are no plans to fully integrate all the capabilities that Survey123 has into Field Maps. There are plans to support in-line attachments, in-line related records (repeats), calculations, and contingent values among other things.
How do I access Survey123?
Go to and click Sign In. Go to (where host, domain, and webadaptor are replaced by information about your portal) and click Sign In.
Can you use Survey123 in Field Maps?
This URL will now open the Survey123 field app and your chosen survey, populate a text question, and provide a new default location for your geopoint question. Field contents can also be passed to Survey123 from a pop-up in an ArcGIS web map, allowing integration with any Esri apps that use pop-ups in a web map.

It comes in two flavours: Survey123 Web lets you quickly create surveys with a drag-n-drop interface, while Survey123 Connect lets you use an XLS Form to create surveys.
