The EU Settlement Scheme, which allows EU citizens to continue living in the UK following Brexit, opened on 30th March and applications can be made until 30 June 2021.
If you have limited leave to enter or remain in the UK which expires after 30 June 2021, you must apply before your leave expires. If youre applying as a family member of a British citizen who you lived with in the EU , Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein, your deadline to apply was 29 March 2022.
You can apply for an administrative review if either: your application was refused on eligibility grounds. you were granted pre-settled status but think you qualify for settled status.

Your application is likely to take longer than a month to process if: we need to request more information from you. youre applying as a minor and your application is not linked to an adult. you submit a paper application - for example if your application is based on a derivative right to reside in the UK.
EU nationals who wish to work, live, or study in the UK in 2022 following Brexit must apply for a visa. However, those with EU pre-settled or settled status can continue to live, work and study in the UK freely.
If you are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen and have not made an application to the EU Settlement Scheme by 30 June 2021, you will become unlawfully present and will be at risk of losing access to employment and benefits, as well as being subject to other sanctions, such as being unable to rent from a private landlord in
You cannot use an EU , EEA or Swiss national ID card to enter the UK unless you: have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, or Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Mans settlement schemes.
You dont have to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to stay in the UK after Brexit. If you do apply, you need to enter the date you were given indefinite leave to remain. After you get your decision letter, you can view your pre-settled or settled status online on GOV.UK. If youre from the EU, EEA or Switzerland, you will not get a card showing your pre-settled or settled status - your status is only online.
