In this video, we will show how to send precise coordinates from docHub over Bluetooth to an Android device and use it with different surveying apps. Generally, there are two types of survey apps for Android . One can work directly with NMEA string from docHub over Bluetooth. Others use the coordinates from a built-in GPS receiver of a smartphone or tablet. docHub works smoothly with any of such apps. First, we need to establish a Bluetooth connection between the receiver and the Android device. Lets start with that. Connect to the unit via docHubView App on your device. Go to the Bluetooth tab turn it on and set it to be Always discoverable. The units Bluetooth name is displayed just above its MAC address. In our case, the units name is docHub-rover. Go to settings of your Android device. Open Bluetooth configuration and enable the Bluetooth connection. Wait until docHub is found as an available device.
