Shawn Jordison: This video is going to explain how to reduce the file size of a PDF. The first thing I want to do is take a look at how large this document is, Im going to select the File Properties option. And this tells me that my file is currently 1.35 megabytes. That seems rather large for a one page PDF. So what Im going to do is make it smaller. Im going to go to File, Save As Other and then reduce size PDF. Were going to make it compatible with the default option retain existing and select OK. And then Im going to save my file to the desktop. Now lets take a look at how large the file was. Im going to select File and then properties. And it is now 67 kilobytes. So you just learned how to reduce the file size of a PDF. Thank you for watching
