This video tutorial will show you how to add a footer message for all Gmail users when sending a message. In the first step, sign in to the Google Workspace platform. Now, you have to click on Apps and then go to Google Workspace. Then, select Gmail and go to Settings for Gmail. See the option Compliance and click on it. Next, you need to scroll down to the Compliance section and click or tap on the option that says Append Footer. Click on Configure, and enter a short description for the footer. The Append footer composer doesnt support rich HTML, so try not to exaggerate here. For our example, I will add a generic message. Then click Save. In the second part, you can send a test email message. Note that this user already has an email signature, so the footer box appears at the end. Scroll through the document until the status bar shows Section 2. On the Insert tab, in the Header Footer group, click Page Number and select Format Page Numbers In the Page Number Format dialog, make sure that numbering is set to Continue from previous section. Repeat this for Section 3.
Click or tap the page at the beginning of a section. Select Layout Breaks Next Page. Double-click the header or footer on the first page of the new section. Click Link to Previous to turn it off and unlink the header or footer from the previous section.
It would appear that you have restarted numbering at some point. Click on Page Number, then Format Page Numbers, and select Continue from previous section. Also, you can keep your headers linked if you use alignment tabs to position content; these automatically adjust to the margin width.
Double-click the header area on any page of the combined document and click the Next Section or Previous Section buttons on the Header and Footer Tools tab to move through the headers of the different documents to verify they are correct.
Create multiple headers or footers in Word Double click the header or footer section in page 2 to enable the header or footer editing mode. Change the header or footer content to your needs and click the Close Header and Footer button. Repeat the above steps to change all header or footer contents as you need.
You can insert text and images in the header and footer sections when merging to letters.
Go to Layout Breaks Next Page to create a section break. Double-click the header or footer area to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections.
