hey everybody its john here and in this video were going to take a look at how we can summarize text values in a pivot table and output only the unique values so in a previous video i showed how you could take a set of data and then summarize some text values in the pivot table like this so here weve got some car makes and car models and then in this pivot table whats happening is for each of the car makes ive got the model listed here as a comma separated list and you can see that where theres multiple models so here ive got f series twice then in the model list here ive got f series repeated now someone asked after that video how can you get this list here so that it only shows unique values so here id only want to see f series once same with mustang and taurus now if you want to see how to do this original version ill link to that video in the description below but to fix this up so that it only shows the unique values lets take a look at how we can do that so over in my

Chart Title - You can turn the chart title off or place it above the chart or centered inside the chart. To edit the chart title turn it on here, then tap on the chart title in the chart itself and type a new title. Tap anywhere else on the document to save your title change.
The CONCAT function combines the text from multiple ranges and/or strings, but it doesnt provide delimiter or IgnoreEmpty arguments. CONCAT replaces the CONCATENATE function. However, the CONCATENATE function will stay available for compatibility with earlier versions of Excel.
There are two ways to do this: Add double quotation marks with a space between them . For example: =CONCATENATE(Hello, , World!). Add a space after the Text argument. For example: =CONCATENATE(Hello , World!). The string Hello has an extra space added.

To format data labels, select your chart, and then in the Chart Design tab, click Add Chart Element Data Labels More Data Label Options. Click Label Options and under Label Contains, pick the options you want. To make data labels easier to read, you can move them inside the data points or even outside of the chart.
Use CONCATENATE to create a Chart Title That way in case the chart is ever copied and pasted into an email, Word document, or PowerPoint presentation the inputs to the calculations will be known. The CONCATENATE function can be used to create a descriptive title in a cell on the worksheet.
Linking a Cell Value to the Chart Title Click on the Chart Title box. Go to Formula bar and type = Select the cell that you want to show as the chart title. Hit Enter.
