Hi, this is Mike. I want to show you the simplest way to compress a folder full of photos without any special software. It only takes two or three minutes and has worked for me multiple times on Windows computers. I haven't tried it on a Mac. Right-click on the folder to check the file size, then create a new folder for the compressed pictures. Open the folder with the photos, select all with control A, and then right-click and choose 'Send to' > 'Compressed (zipped) folder'. This will create a compressed version of the folder with a smaller file size.
