im going to use alice killer.com slides toc this is going to prompt me to make a copy im going to be able to add my slides to the google slides im going to build my presentation and then im going to add the next slide i want a section header and the next one title sizes would be my notes now notice what im doing is when i click this tiny triangle to add the layout each of these layouts has a title so it says click here to add title this is the slide name or if i type down here this is the content that is not the slide name so whatever this layout placeholder says click to add title thats the slide name so that when i go to i go to the add-ons menu i go to table of contents i need to install after installing go back to the table of contents and i say make table of contents and youll notice it added a slide for me with the table of contents that is hyperlinked to those slides but what went in the title slide for the placeholder is what shows up in this hyper linked text im going

Go to References Table of Contents. Select Custom table of contents. Use the settings to show, hide, and align page numbers, add or change the tab leader, set formats, and specify how many levels of headings to show.
In the table of contents above, each chapter uses a heading style, so there are four sections. To apply a heading style, select the text you want to format, then choose the desired heading in the Styles group on the Home tab.
As for the subtitles, highlight one, press the TAB button on your keyboard, and then choose the same Multilevel List option. It will design the subtitles of the secondary sections with the numbers like 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. as in the screenshot below. You can also choose another option so that they look differently.
The problem is that only if the entire paragraph is formatted as a heading will it be included in the TOC. The easiest way to make sure that you apply the Linked heading style to the entire paragraph is to NOT select any word or phrase in the heading paragraph.
