Why does Gmail say The signature is too long. Please try a shorter signature ? Gmail has a character limit of 10,000 for email signature. This means that if the HTML you have entered is actually greater than 10,000 characters it wont let you save the signature.
You can put up to 10,000 characters in your signature. Open Gmail. In the top right, click Settings. See all settings. In the Signature section, add your signature text in the box. If you want, you can format your message by adding an image or changing the text style. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
1. Place the cursor where youd like to add a signature to a Word document. 2. Go to the Insert tab, and under Text, click Signature List, followed by Microsoft Office Signature Line.
Add or change a signature Open the Gmail app . In the top left, tap Menu . Scroll to the bottom, then tap Settings. Choose the Google Account where you want to add a signature. Tap Mobile Signature. Enter the text for your signature. Tap OK.
The simplest and most straightforward way to create a digital signature is to simply sign your name using a pen, take a photo of it, and upload it to a digital device.
Using a mobile device or digital camera Write your signature on a plain piece of paper. Take a photo of the signature using either a smartphone or digital camera. Send the photo to your email address. Save the signature image to your computer. Open your email client and insert the image.
Insert a signature automatically On the Message tab, in the Include group, click Signature, and then click Signatures. Under Choose default signature, in the E-mail account list, click an email account with which you want to associate the signature.
You need a scanner to do this. Write your signature on a piece of paper. Scan the page and save it on your computer in a common file format: .BMP, .GIF, .JPG, or .PNG. On the Insert tab, click Pictures Picture from File. Browse to the picture you want to insert, select it, and then click Insert.
