(upbeat music) - [Chris] In this screencast, well walk through the Jetpack Compose list APIs, and show you how simple it is to display a long list of items in Compose. The app were going to use is a simple contacts list application, which you can see written on the right, and in this video, were going to complete each of the tasks you can see to display a fully featured list UI. Lets jump into the first task on our code. Currently, the list is implemented as a simple column, and our first task is to change that to use a component called LazyColumn.
