By going to settings and selecting notifications, you can choose to receive browser updates, email updates, or turn them off completely. You can adjust notifications for individual files by selecting manage comment notifications and choosing to receive notifications for all comments, comments that mention you, replies to your comments, or none at all. This can also be done for slides by going to the comment button in the upper right corner.
