In my version, open your Word document and select HOME on the ribbon - then look to the extreme right for “Find' with the magnifying glass icon. Click on that an a search bar will open on the left - type as many words as you need to enter to get a clear result. Thank for the A2A.
Remove tracked changes Click at the beginning of the document. On the Review tab, go to Changes. Select Accept or Reject. As you accept or reject changes, Word will move to the next change. Repeat until you've removed all changes in the document.
You can hide existing tracked changes temporarily by choosing No Markup in the Display for Review box. That helps you see what the document will look like when it's final, but changes will show up again the next time anyone opens it.
If you want to create a “clean” version of your documents for your future reference, click on the “Accept” drop down list arrow and select “Accept ALL Changes”. This will remove reference all the older information and accept/replace this to only who the updated text.
