Proxy servers and VPNs both act as an intermediary between the user and a website. Proxies and VPNs forward the user's request to the web server and conceal location and connection information by changing their IP addresses.
In my experience, the best method for making your own foil proxy cards is to remove the ink from an existing foil and glue a printed, transparent sheet onto the blank face of the foil card. This process is relatively easy and produces great looking proxies.
To delete a PAC file: From the Proxy Auto-Configuration Files list, select a PAC file. Click Remove. The PAC file is removed from the list.
A proxy card is used during competition to represent an otherwise legal Magic card or checklist card that can no longer be included in a deck without the deck being marked.
A real card will have clean, crisp printing on the font. s will have lower quality print, which is most visible when looking at the tiny text. Also compare the colours on the cards. Make sure that the color saturation is the same.
You may damage some functions if you allow the AV engine to do that before disabling the proxy in the web browser beforehand. Your internet access can get disrupted if you do not know how to turn off Proxy in Chrome, for example. However, restoring access requires proxy settings disabling.
The most important distinction to make here is that proxy cards, no matter how realistic, are not legal in tournament magic. This means that in any official tournament, whether a Mythic Championship or just FNM at you local store, the cards are illegal to play with.
A proxy card will almost always have a different rosette pattern than a genuine card. It can be one that's well done, but different nonetheless. When doing this test, it's important to have a reference card from the same set to go back to, since genuine cards can have different patterns over the years.
