[Music] hello welcome todays tip is how to clean a sealed liquid transmission cell now we like sealed cells for quantitative analysis because you always know the path length but considering its all buttoned down how do you clean it let me show you how i do it this is our smart seal cell to clean it i will connect two syringes one being empty and the other filled with the solvent thats compatible with my sample for cleaning and to clean i will pull on the empty syringe and pull the solvent through just for a little swishing ill then pull it back just to swish it up and clean it a little better and once im done with that i will go ahead and dispose of the solvent and then go ahead and fill this with some clean solvent and just give it one more push through and once im finished ill go ahead and connect an empty syringe and just push some air through to dry up the cell so thats how i clean our smart sealed cells so thanks for watching this week and well see you next time [Music]
