in this video we are cleaning an underexposed jpeg firstly you go into adjustments which can be found on the right hand side of the screen as you can see there are many different tools that can help clean the image you have brightness and contrast levels curves exposure vibrance hue and saturation color balance black and white photo filter channel mixer color lookup invert posturize threshold selective color and finally gradient so to start with well go to brightness and contrast and with this tool we can brighten the image up slightly as you can see it looks a lot better already but still needs some adjustments the contrast tool in this case wont do much due to the fact that the dog is black and will make it look darker which isnt what were looking for next you go back into adjustments and select the levels tool here you can play around with the different tones of exposure in the image as you can see when i move the middle cursor around it changes the exposure of the mid tones in
