Select Insert Header Footer. On the right side of the white area at the top of the document area, select Options Different Even Odd Pages. Type the text you want to appear on even pages.
Create a new document in Word. Go to the Insert tab on the main menu and select Header from the Header Footer section. Choose a blank header or use one of the built-in options. In the Header Footer section, check the Different Odd Even Pages option.
Change or delete a header or footer on a single page Double-click the first page header or footer area. Check Different First Page to see if its selected. If not: Select Different First Page. Add your new content into the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer or press Esc to exit.
Edit your existing headers and footers Double-click the header or footer you want to edit, or select Header or Footer, and then select Edit Header or Edit Footer. Add or change text for the header or footer or do any of the following: When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
Another way is to use the Page Layout tab in the ribbon and then click on Breaks and Insert Page Break. Once youve inserted the page break, you can then go back to the Page Layout tab and click on Page Setup. In the Page Setup dialog box, click on the Header/Footer tab and then select Different Odd
Double-click the header or footer area to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections. Select Header or Footer and do one of the following: Choose Remove Header or Remove Footer .
You can set different header and footer for even and odd pages. You can set images in header and footer.
So as long as each page is in its own section you can have as many footers as you want. Just remember to create a new section break at the bottom of every page.
Go to Insert Header Footer. On the top right side of the document, select Options Remove Headers Footers.
To choose a format or to control the starting number, go to Header Footer Page Number Format Page Numbers. To change the numbering style, select a different style in Number format. To change the starting page number of the newly created section, select Start at, and then enter a number. Select OK.
