On the right-pane, select Spell Check. Select the Preferences icon and ensure that the correct provider is selected. Select if you want to run the grammar checker for the current file, all topics in the project, or all files in the project. Select Run Grammar Check.
A standard English spell-checker is a tool that searches a document or website for misspellings and suggests fixes. It can catch unintentional mistakes that occur when youre typing or texting quickly, or clear up common confusing word pairs, such as affect and effect.
Check spelling and grammar all at once On the Review tab, click Spelling Grammar. Word displays the issues it finds in the Spelling Grammar dialog box. To address an issue, do one of the following: After you correct, ignore, or skip an issue, Word moves to the next one. Click OK to return to your document.
