ot of people use Adobe Acrobat Reader instead of Preview. Another thing you can do is add your signature to a PDF in Preview. You can do this by going to the Markup toolbar and selecting the signature tool. You can either create a signature using your trackpad or by holding up a piece of paper with your signature on it to the camera. You can then drag and drop that signature onto your PDF. You can also extract images from a PDF in Preview. This can be useful if you need to save an image that is embedded in a PDF. You can also annotate a PDF in Preview by using the various tools available in the Markup toolbar. This includes highlighting text, adding shapes, and drawing with the pen tool. You can also combine multiple PDFs into one document in Preview. This can be done by opening the sidebar, dragging and dropping PDFs into the sidebar, and rearranging them as needed. This is useful if you have multiple PDFs that you want to merge into one file. You can also password protect a PDF in Preview. This can be done by going to File, Export as PDF, and then selecting the Encrypt option. You can then set a password to restrict access to the PDF. So those are 12 things you can do with PDF files in the Mac Preview App that you may not have known about.
