hello everyone welcome to techie labor channel and in todays video im going to show you how to check the resolution of your monitor in windows 10 so what you need to do first is right click on anywhere on your desktop any empty space and then click on display settings and in here you can see display resolution and in my case it is 2560 by 1440 which is basically 1440 and if we click here we can see that the recommended is 1440 because my monitor is a 1440p monitor but i can go up to 4k but it is probably not going to look good and i can also select some lower resolution but there is no point of doing that now lets say if your monitor is a 1080p monitor then you will see up to 1920 by 1080 in this list and you will not be able to go above that but if you have a 4k monitor you will have a lot of option to change from and thats it for today i hope this video was helpful if it was please give it a thumbs up and ill see you guys in the next one

For television and consumer media, 1920 1080 is the most common 2K resolution, but this is normally referred to as 1080p.
