Common charts Histogram. Bar chart. Pie chart. Line chart.
There are several different types of charts and graphs. The four most common are probably line graphs, bar graphs and histograms, pie charts, and Cartesian graphs.
Popular graph types include line graphs, bar graphs, pie charts, scatter plots and histograms. Graphs are a great way to visualize data and display statistics. For example, a bar graph or chart is used to display numerical data that is independent of one another.
A table is the representation of data or information in rows and columns while a chart is the graphical representation of data in symbols like bars, lines, and slices.
A graph is a text feature that shows the interrelations between two or more things. Graphs can show data in many ways. Some ways are bars, dots, and lines. Interrelations: corresponding relations.
Insert a text box on a chart Click the chart to which you want to add a text box. In the chart, click where you want to start a corner of the text box, and then drag until the text box is the size that you want. In the text box, type the text that you want. The text will wrap in the text box.
A chart (sometimes known as a graph) is a graphical representation for data visualization, in which the data is represented by symbols, such as bars in a bar chart, lines in a line chart, or slices in a pie chart.
Charts can help people better understand and remember information. Many people understand a picture more quickly than blocks of text. A compelling chart can help you make your point more convincingly and lend credibility to your presentation.
