okay as you can see Ive got the same font pattern that I have in the example above in the blog and I am going to choose to do a the letter W in this font and one thing that I often do to denote where my borders are going to be and help me keep track of at what empty boxes I need is I will actually draw a line on the grid paper so let me show you here on the grid paper what I typically do and it doesnt have to be fancy like its its simply for your reference so I look at the letter itself I count the number high that the letter is so the number of box is high it is so its one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen so its fourteen high which means that I want two boxes above and two boxes below so I need 18 squares in between my two lines that I draw as a reference so Ill show you here I typically just freehand Im gonna draw the my bottom one first and go up from there so I freehand a line here at the bottom I count my 18 squares 1 2 3 4 5 6
