Bookmarking a report is a simple way to save the report you need for future reference or sharing it with other users. The way of bookmarking a report depends on the browser you use. For example, to bookmark a report in Chrome: Click the star icon in the address bar.
Even though its fiddly, Bookmarks give a seamless user experience. For example, in below example, when I use page navigation functionality between report pages, every time I land on the page, it takes me back to the top of the page. But using Bookmarks, leave me at the same position on the page.
Once youve created your bookmarks, select the Bookmark navigator option. On the Insert tab, select Buttons Navigator Bookmark navigator. Select Edit to edit the report, then on the menu bar select Buttons Navigator Bookmark navigator.
You need to place the default values on your slicer and then selecting all those slicers create a bookmark and select the option Selected visuals, keeping the Data option active. When you do that the all the slicer will keep the values on other slicers but the one you select will go back to the default values.
Here I would add that, if your filters are in the filters pane, before selecting the option Selected Visuals and updating, you also have to select all visuals on your page (CTRL + A). Then, with all visuals selected you can update your bookmark.
Use a slicer to filter data Select Insert Slicer. Select the fields youd like to filter. Select OK and adjust your slicer preferences, such as Columns, under Options. Note: To select more than one item, hold Ctrl, and then select the items that you want to show. Select Clear Filter. to clear the slicer filter.
