Try it! Select Replace or press Ctrl + H. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for. Select Find Next to see where the text appears in your file. In the Replace with box, type the text you want. Select Replace to change the text or select Replace All to change all instances of this text in your file.
Press the Insert or Ins key on the keyboard. In Windows, double-click the OVR indicator that appears at the bottom of your documents window. When you turn the Overwrite option off, the OVR indicator will become grayed out. In Mac OS X, single-click the OVR icon that appears at the bottom of your documents window.

Step 1: In System preferences Keyboard, go to the Text tab. Step 2: To edit a replacement, select it and enter the new shortcut or text you want to display. Then, press your Return key. Step 3: To delete a replacement, select it in the list and use the Minus sign on the bottom left to remove it.

ToPress Find/replace data -Shift-F Find the next occurrence of the specified data -G Reverse the current direction of a Find Again operation -Shift-G Replace the Find what data with the Replace with data, then search for and select the next occurrence -Option-G16 more rows
Open Microsoft Word on your Mac. Click or hover over the Edit tab found in the top toolbar. Click or hover over Find from the dropdown menu. Click Replace or hold shift + command + H on your keyboard.
