Hi there, my name is Shawn Jordison. And in this video, we are going to cover the various ways to change a tag type. The first option to change the tag type is to do it through the properties menu. So with your tags panel open, you can select any one of these tags. And lets say we want to change this h1 tag to something else, we can right click it, select Properties. And then we can use the drop down menu to change our tag. Now, this is not a table data cell, but were going to practice doing this. So thats one way you can right click the tag, select properties change. Option two is to use the keyboard. So if you select the tag in the tag tree, Im going to select f2 on my keyboard, and we can change the tags using our keyboard and select Enter. And that will also change our tag type. Another method is to use the auto tagging tool. Now these methods we will go into further throughout this course. But Im going to show you this anyway. Remove Metadata from PDF File Go to the File tab and choose the Properties Description option. You can then view the metadata of the PDF document. You can edit and delete metadata as you want. Select the information that you want to delete.
Basic Tagging in Acrobat Open the untagged PDF in Acrobat. Open the Tags panel. Click the options menu (or right-click the No Tags Available text) and select Add Tags to Document. Acrobat will automatically generate tags for the document. Please review your tags in the Tags panel and make corrections if necessary.
Tagged Content First, check to see if the Tagged PDF issue, under Document, has failed or passed. If it failed, right-click on it and then click Fix. Sometimes this will also fix the Tagged Content issue.
