you can resize the columns and rows a table level or individual row column level create an example table if you want to increase or decrease the width or height of all rows click on layout tab under table size group increase the height and width you can see all cells are changed to the same height and Wetty move the cursor to near cell borders until it turns to double-headed arrow click and drag to resize an individual column or row you can see only the specific column and row or affected if you move the cursor to right-hand border of a column after the cursor turns to double-headed arrow if you double click on Mouse the column width is changed to fit the longest text in it try testing it by typing in longer text in one of the cell now click on the right-hand border of the column double click on it you can see the column width is adjusted to the longest text if you want to shorten it and create a line break click on where you want to break it break the text and press Shift + Enter key
