hi Im Jeff and you want to know how to do a shadow effect in Microsoft Word theres three different kinds of things I can figure youre talking about and all of them are actually pretty simple and Ill show you how to do them first off you might want to put a shadow around a specific portion of text the paragraph that were talking about in this case Ill put a shadowy box around the incredible tail title Im in the paragraph which is good my cursor is there and thats all you need to have as long as youre so youre in there the better that paragraph is selected if I go up to format borders and shading and Im on the Borders tab I can click shadow thats pretty easy its going to set up that shadow boarder for me I can even change how thick it is Ill go up to say 3 now Ill hit OK and you see that you know the incredible tail the paragraph that contains it is now bordered with a shadow if you want the actual whole page to be bordered with a shadow instead you can go up to format b
