Hi, I'm Pop, and in this Ubuntu basics video, I show how to edit and read ODT and RTF files on an Android phone. Programs like OpenOffice and LibreOffice save files in ODT format for writer and ODS for spreadsheets. You can read these files on your Android phone using OpenOffice document reader, but cannot edit them. By saving files as RTF in the writer program, you can edit them on your Android phone using ThinkFree Write. Both OpenOffice reader and ThinkFree Write are free apps available in the Play Store. Simply tap on an RTF file in Dropbox or Ubuntu on your phone to edit it with ThinkFree Write, and tap on an ODT file to open it with OpenOffice reader.
