The problem stems from the new version of Microsoft Windows defaulting to use Edge to open PDFs. To resolve this, the viewer is guided to go to the settings and search for "default apps" to change the default PDF opener to DocHub, which offers different functions that they are familiar with.

When the file is opened in edge -- Settings -- View Document Properties, the page size shows as 11.33 14.67 in (portrait).
Resize the document to match paper size for printing Choose an option as per your need: Fit to printable area: This option will automatically adjust the size of the content to fit within the printable area of the paper. Actual size: This option prints the document in its original size without any scaling.
You can magnify or reduce a PDF by an exact percentage. Choose the hamburger menu (Windows) or the File menu (macOS) Print. From the Page Sizing Handling menu, select Custom Scale. Enter the percentage you want to magnify or reduce the PDF.
Reduce the size when saving from Microsoft Word Open the Word document that you want to save as a PDF file. Select File on the toolbar. Choose Save As. Select PDF as the file type. Enter the file name. Find the Optimize For option. Select Minimum Size (Publishing Online). Click Save.
Always use the 8.5 x 11 paper size when scanning or converting documents to PDF files. After creating each PDF file, verify that an 8.5 x 11 document was created.
Open Microsoft Edge or any other internet browser. Navigate to the Acrobat online PDF compressor. Click Select a File and locate your PDF, or simply drag and drop it to the Compress PDF field. Once your file is compressed, download your file and be sure to see how many bytes the compressor shaved off.
Open the PDF in Microsoft Edge. Select Edit in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Select the blank fields you want to edit and type in your text. Save the edited PDF by selecting Save in the top toolbar.
Once downloaded, simply open your pdf file in docHub Reader, and press Ctrl+D or File Properties (Document Properties). And voil! In the Advanced Information section, you will find Page size. Now, if you want to know your dimensions in units other than inches, simply convert it (1 inch - 2.54 cm).
