this is bev brown director of customer success for iht the purpose of this video is to show you how to separate first and last names on an excel sheet for your csv file obviously i'm just using this as an example normally you would have more information than column b c d make sure the column next to the names is blank so column b needs to be blank the other thing that i would do is i would come up here and i would put first space then last because all of my names have a space between the first and last name so now highlight column a go up on top to your taskbar text the columns click click next then i am going to my names are separated by space so i make sure that box is checked click next finish and click ok and then it's done so that is how you take one column that has first and last names and you separate it into two columns for iht csv templates you need to have them separated
