Barans here again in this video Im going to take you through changing general form of a line to other forms so this is the general form of a line ax + b y + C and a lot of times you need to change general form rule lines because general form of line is not good for you know it doesnt have any real specific purpose you know for graphing or things like that like y equals MX plus B or slope-intercept form or slow point form are really good for graphing general form of a line has its other purposes like for solving systems and things like that but for graphing is not the best form to use so oftentimes you have the algebraically rearrange it in order to make it a little bit more useful so thats what were going to do in this video so this is best for if youre graphing if youre given general form the line and you have to grab something so these are the three forms of a line y equals MX plus B this is slope-intercept form the second form here is called slope point
