Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF using Microsoft Word, and as full disclosure before we jump into this, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump on the desktop. Here I am on my desktop, and I have a PDF file called certificate. Im going to go ahead and click on that and I have this nice certificate that I found online. Its a PDF file and I run a company and I have some employees who I want to celebrate. You know, instead of giving people a pay raise, Im just going to give him this paper certificate and hopefully that makes them satisfied with this company. No, really, Id probably just give him more money, I think that makes people happy and maybe throw the certificate in too, but heres the certificate and unfortunately, its a PDF and I cant edit the name of the recipient. I cant type anything down here. I cant type in a date. Its kind of annoying how its hard to edit PDFs,

There are four probable reasons why your PDF cannot be renamed 1) The file is still open with an application 2) the file is deleted or changed in another window 3) the file is being named too long or with characters that are not allowed 4) the file was made with a faulty application.
Update the headers and footers Open the PDF file containing header and footer. Choose Tools Edit PDF. In the secondary toolbar, choose Header Footer Update. Change the settings as needed.
On a computer, open Gmail. You cant edit labels from the Gmail app. On the left side of the page, hover your cursor over your labels name. Click the Down arrow . Click Edit. Make changes to your label. Click Save.
Step 2: Changing labels Go to the Page option. After you click on the page option, you will have to select the PDF Labels, under the drop-down menu of Page Range, you can choose different page range, then select page numbering. Click OK to change lables in pages.
Select the generated file (such as the table of contents) in the book window. Choose Edit Set Up Table Of Contents or Set Up List of type. Move items between the list boxes as desired. Click Set.
First open the Symbol panel (Window Symbols), then drag your label inside the symbol panel (itll look like the screenshot below). You can double click to edit the symbol, and change them everywhere. Hope this helps!
Navigate to Info Click on Properties Double click on Advanced Properties. You should see a properties dialog box appear. You can then proceed to amend the document metadata such as the Title, author, etc.
Open the PDF document that you want to create page labels for in docHub Acrobat, then select Plug-ins Merge Documents Assign Page Labels By Text Search from the main Acrobat menu.
