whats up yall its clay from howtoapps and right now im going to show you how to change the text or font size on your mac desktop or macbook laptop its a pretty useful setting to be aware of and not something that i really knew about up until recently and theres a few different variations that you can do with it for increasing the size of things or decreasing so lets just get right into it and take a look at them alright the first one i want to show you can be found in system preferences you get there by clicking on the apple icon in the top left corner of your screen and in this menu click on system preferences once youre in here go down to the very bottom row and on the far left there should be an icon that looks like a monitor and says displays click on that and then go up to resolution at the top and you probably have default for display checked off like i do lets go ahead and check scaled and here were given a few options that scales pretty much everything thats on your

Restoring the standard fonts moves any fonts youve installed into a separate folder, which makes them unavailable to use in apps. In the Font Book app on your Mac, choose Font Book Settings. Click Advanced, then click Reset Fonts. Click Proceed to confirm, and enter your password if asked (or use Touch ID).
