To combine multiple PDFs into one on your Mac, locate the PDFs, open them all, select them, go to edit, select all, then go to file, print, choose PDF, save as PDF, select one, choose where to save, add info if needed, and click save. This will combine all pages into one new PDF document.

In the Preview app on your Mac, open the PDF that you want to compress. Choose File Export. Click the Quartz Filter pop-up menu, then choose Reduce File Size.
To edit a PDF, open it in Word. This works best with PDFs that are mostly text. PDFs of book chapters or something that looks like a manuscript from a copier wont be formatted well in Word.
Edit text in a PDF Edit text in a PDF. Open the PDF you want to edit in Acrobat, and then select Edit in the global bar. The PDF switches to the edit mode, and the Edit panel displays. The Edit panel includes options to modify the page, add content, redact a PDF, and convert various documents to PDF forms.
To add or edit text in a PDF that was made in an Office program like Excel or Publisher, start with the original Office file. Open that file in your Office program, make your changes, and then save the file in PDF format again. To convert a PDF and edit it in Word 2013 or newer, check out Edit PDF content in Word.
Click the File tab on the top menu bar Properties, then a Properties window will pop up. And you can view some information about this file under the Summary tab and you can edit the PDF meta data in Attributes. Within the dialog boxes, you can edit the title, author, subject, keywords, etc. easily.
How to convert PDF files into Word documents: Open a PDF file in Acrobat. Click on the Export PDF tool in the right pane. Choose Microsoft Word as your export format, and then choose Word Document.
How to edit PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text, or update fonts using selections from the Format list. Save your edited PDF: Name your file and click the Save button. Thats it.
How to make a PDF editable with Acrobat. Navigate to the Edit PDFs tool. Click the Select a file button to upload your PDF. After the file uploads, sign in with your docHub account. Use the toolbar to add text, comments, sticky notes, highlights, and more. Download the edited PDF or get a shareable link.
