Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can edit a PDF file entirely for free. Its not going to cost you anything. Now, I dont know about you, but one of the most annoying things is you have a PDF file, and you need to make a quick edit to it, or you need to insert a signature, and it turns out you have to get an app. Now most apps out there put a watermark on when you make edits or if you go for the official docHub app, it costs $14.99 per month. Luckily, there are some fantastic apps out there that let you edit PDFs, and they dont charge anything. Now, I had four different criteria that I looked for in a PDF editor. First off, I wanted it to be free or if it wasnt free, I wanted it to be an app that I already have. The second, I didnt want it to insert any watermarks, third I wanted to be able to edit, and fourth, I wanted to be able to insert a signature, and luckily there were a few apps that could do that, and today Im going

Remove Metadata from PDF File Go to the File tab and choose the Properties Description option. You can then view the metadata of the PDF document. You can edit and delete metadata as you want. Select the information that you want to delete.
Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, youll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.
In docHub, you can access this internal file metadata by going to File Properties or pressing Ctrl-D (Command-D on Mac). This metadata includes title, author, subject, and keywords. You will only be able to edit the metadata if you are using the Pro version of Acrobat.
Choose Tools Edit PDF Edit . The dotted outlines identify the text and images you can edit. Select the text you want to change. In the right-side Format panel, select a font, font size, or other formatting options.
How to Edit a PDFs Metadata in 3 Steps With the PDF file you want to inspect open in Power PDF, click File and find the Info tab. Under Properties, click Advanced Properties. The PDF metadata dialog box opens. Add, edit, or manually remove any of the metadata displayed.
How to view PDF metadata? Open the concerned PDF document in docHub and go to File Properties Description. It will show you a window that consists of different components of the metadata of the concerned PDF document.
To reduce the size of your PDF, open the file, then go to Convert Compress. This will bring up a menu where you can choose the compression level, from smallest to largest (file size). At the smallest option, with file compression and image resampling set to 150 dpi, our 11,775MB file got compressed to 261.53KB.
To edit a PDF, open it in Word. This works best with PDFs that are mostly text. PDFs of book chapters or something that looks like a manuscript from a copier wont be formatted well in Word. Go to File Open.
