Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, youll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.
Note: Go to Windows Start Open Computer. Click the triangle next to Documents. Right-click the My Documents folder. Click Properties Select the Location tab. Type H:\docs in the bar Click [Apply]. A message box may ask you if you want to move the contents of the folder to the new folder.
Head to the File menu, then click File info. And you can also press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + I on Windows and Command + Option + Shift + I on Mac. From here, you can copy or edit the metadata. Click OK to save your changes.

Right-click on the Documents folder and select Properties from the context menu. Step 4. Click the Location then click Move option to find the new path folder (here is D:\Documents). Then, click OK.
Restore Default Documents Folder Location Open File Explorer by pressing the Win+E keys on your keyboard. Locate your Documents folder and right mouse click on it. In the Properties window, click on the Location tab at the top. Under the Location tab, click Restore Default.
Where Is My Documents Folder in Windows 10? Click on the Folder looking icon on the Taskbar to open File Explorer. Under Quick access on the left side, there must be a folder with name Documents. Click on it, and it will show all the documents you earlier had or have saved recently.
Find the file whose properties you want to change, and then select it. On the Home tab, tap or click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, tap or click the Details tab. Under Value, tap or click next to the property that you want to change, enter a word or phrase, and then tap or click OK.
