Hey this is Ralph in this video I want to show you how easy it is to insert charts into Microsoft Word. Not long ago I had to create a large document that had over a dozen different charts, and it was pretty easy to do in Word and it was also easy to make them look good. So basically in my Word document, Im going to head right over to the insert ribbon and Im going to choose chart. Now I think for this example Ill just do a default column, clustered column chart, works pretty much the same for all the others, and click okay. Now when you do this, Word is going to give you this little baby like Excel spreadsheet to work with, and for quick charts, thats probably not a bad way to go. However, what I like to do since I like Excel, I click this little button right here to edit the data in Microsoft Excel. Thats going to open up an, a true Excel client interface which is much more practical. So for some of my charts, I already had them created on a spread

Select the chart. Select Chart Design Edit Data in Excel.
Right-click your chart, and then choose Select Data. In the Legend Entries (Series) box, click the series you want to change. Click Edit, make your changes, and click OK.
Modify Chart Elements With the chart selected, click the Chart Elements button. Different chart types contain different chart elements. Depending on the chart type, you may be able to adjust gridlines, titles, legends, and data or axis labels. Click the check box next to the element you want to toggle on or off.
How? On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Chart. In the Insert Chart dialog box, click the arrows to scroll through the chart types. Select the type of chart that you want and then click OK.
In your Word document, click Insert Chart. Select the type of chart you want, such as column or pie chart, and click OK. (If youre not sure which to choose, move down the All Charts list to preview each type.) Enter your data into the spreadsheet that automatically opens with the chart.
Select the chart., and then click the tab. Select Chart Design Add Chart Element Data Table. Select the options. Depending on the chart type, some options may not be available.
Click Insert Chart. Click Pie and then double-click the pie chart you want. In the spreadsheet that appears, replace the placeholder data with your own information.
Under Chart Tools, on the Design tab, in the Data group, click Edit Data. Microsoft Excel opens in a new window and displays the worksheet for the selected chart. In the Excel worksheet, click the cell that contains the title or the data that you want to change, and then enter the new information.
Add a shape in Excel, Outlook, Word, or PowerPoint On the Insert tab, click Shapes. Click the shape you want, click anywhere in the workspace, and then drag to place the shape. To create a perfect square or circle (or constrain the dimensions of other shapes), press and hold Shift while you drag.
On your Android phone or tablet, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app. Double-tap the chart you want to edit. Tap Edit chart. Choose from: Type: Change the chart type. Legend: Change the legend location. Titles: Change the chart and axis titles. When youre done, tap Done .
