hi this is Lina Darnay and were gonna look at how to add some pizzazz to your canvas course by changing the image on the course card so this is a course card on a dashboard a student may have multiple course cards because they have multiple courses they belong to youll notice you can see multiple course cards on mine and all have different images which allows me to quickly remember which one that I want to go to for a certain task or assignment this one however is just a color this is something that will be the default so anytime you first make a course or have one created by your sis your student information services like skyward or PowerSchool itll just default to a color now some of you might also notice that mine looks cleaner and clearer then your dashboard might look and thats because Ive removed the color overlay by default these colors are overlaid on the pictures and you can remove those by clicking on the three little dots at the top of the dashboard and uncheck color o
