hi my name is Bree Clark and I'm a software expert today I'm going to show you how to change the background color in Excel now Excel doesn't actually have a background color feature but what we can do is change the background color of the individual cells so we'll start by selecting all of the cells on the worksheet you can either do that by pressing ctrl a or by clicking in the space between the a and the one column and row headers in the upper left corner of the spreadsheet once you've selected all the cells you can go up to the Paint Bucket click the drop-down and pick a fill color so now I've changed all of those cell colors but this will not carry on to a new worksheet if I come down here at the bottom and click the plus sign to insert a new sheet those cells will be transparent or appear white just like sheet 1 did originally and if I go back to sheet 1 it still has the background color my name is Bree Clark I'm a software expert and I just showed you how to change the backgroun...
