In this video tutorial, Timmy demonstrates how to sign a PDF on a Chromebook without printing it out, signing it with a pen, and scanning it back in. You need to ensure the PDF is downloaded to your Chromebook for easy access. If the PDF is attached to an email or open in a browser tab, save it to your Chromebook by clicking the download button. Open the files app to locate the PDF, which may be in Google Drive, my files, or the downloads folder. Double click on the PDF to proceed with signing it.

Choose File Properties. Click the Description tab, and type the authors name, subject, and keywords. (Optional) Click Additional Metadata to add other descriptive information, such as copyright information.

How to unlock a PDF to remove password security: Open the PDF in Acrobat. Use the Unlock tool: Choose Tools Protect Encrypt Remove Security. Remove Security: The options vary depending on the type of password security attached to the document.
How to edit a PDF on Chromebook. Use any browser to access Acrobat online and navigate to the edit PDFs service. Drag and drop your file into the drop zone or click Select a file to upload the PDF you want to edit. Youll be prompted to sign in to edit online. Make any edits directly to the document.
If you right click and choose properties on the . pdf, then choose the details tab there is an option to Remove Properties and Personal Information. You can choose what to remove, either some or all of the properties.
Navigate to Info Click on Properties Double click on Advanced Properties. You should see a properties dialog box appear. You can then proceed to amend the document metadata such as the Title, author, etc. If you leave the Title field blank, the file name will be reflected in the header instead.
