once youve located the file that youd like to convert and it should be dot RTF you can go ahead and right-click on it and then select open with and then select word once the file opens in Microsoft Word go through the document to make sure there have been no changes to the formatting from the original RTF file and once youre happy with the way the document looks youll go ahead and click on file save as and then change it to the do C X which is the most recent version of Microsoft Word document you have the choice to make compatible with backward versions before you hit save just click the check box under the file type and then hit save you now have a completed Word document version of your RTF file which students can open easily

Update the email attachment settings to send it as files or Click on Setup. In the Quick Find box, enter email attachment. Click on Email Attachments under Email Administration. Make a selection on the right side under Default Behavior for Email Attachments. Click Save.
