heres a quick video on how I organize my pictures and footage using digital a free and open source software the first step is to pull all your pictures from your camera and I organize them in folders by year and then I create one folder for each session or each day Im going out to shoot all take photos so here we are in the pictures folder and in one of these subfolders if I open them you will find all the raw pictures that I then develop to give you something along those lines so I develop all the pictures with darktable which is also free and open-source software which is extremely powerful but you have one all tutorials about that on the channel for the videos its exactly the same with my file browser here I can easily select all of the files by type by pressing Collin and if I type mp4 for example it will select all the files that have mp4 in their name so I can select files by extension then I use digicam to set which ones I want to keep and which ones I want to delete I dont
