The steps to adding a widget to a catalog item are as follows: Create Service Portal widget. Navigate to desired Catalog Item to configure. Under the Variables section click New. Widgets can only be added to variable type Macro. Click on the Default Value tab. In the Widget field select the widget created in step one.
ServiceNow User Groups (SNUGs) Special Interest Groups (SIGs) Energy. Financial Services. Government. Healthcare. Higher Education. Life Sciences. Manufacturing. All Special Interest Groups.
On your catalog item, create a new multiple choice or select box variable (either will work, we are after the Choices related list here), give it a name and some question text and then submit. Add any choices your variable needs. Switch the variable type over to a list collector.
Click on Custom Fields. Click on Multi Dropdown from the drag drop field box, to open the field editor.Add the choices that should be displayed in the dropdown by clicking Add item. Click Done to save the field. Drag and move the field within the form to organize it. Click Save to save this form.
You can only select one value in a reference field. To select multiple values go with list collector variable type for a catalog item OR List type field for normal forms.
You can add the choices using multiple ways. The easiest option I have figured out is from the Form using the Configure Choices option. Once you do that, select the value in Category and then do Configure Choices for Subcategory. This way ServiceNow will automatically related the Subcategory to the Category selected.
You can use check box.
Configure actions for the SLA item. On the SLA page, select the SLA item, and then select Edit SLA Item. The SLA item page appears. In the Actions area, select Configure Actions.
How to create catalog item? Navigate to Service Catalog Catalog Definition Maintain Items . Click New. Enter the catalog item details and click on Submit. Then we can see Related Lists.
Add a Service SLA to a catalog item or bundle Click Service Catalog Administration Manage Items. Type or select any search criteria for the item or bundle you want to modify and click Search. On the Agreements tab, click Add.
