On your computer, open a presentation in Google Slides. Select the text box or object you want to remove. At the top, click Edit. Click Delete.
To hide text until any click in PowerPoint: Open your PowerPoint document and click on the Insert menu. Click on New Slide. Select Blank or one of the other presets. Still in the Insert menu, click on Text Box. Drag out a text box on your slide. Click in the text box and enter your text.

Click Format Background. In the Format Background pane, under Fill, click Solid Fill. Click the Color button and select white, or any other color you like. If you want to remove the background from all slides, click Apply to All.
Edit Document Properties, and Personal Information To selectively edit or remove data, click File Info Properties. Click Show All Properties. Delete or edit information.
