all right some front of math easy so share discuss another Microsoft Excel tutorial missing this one Ill show you how to remove the the trendline from The Legend of a graph in excel right I was also writing my thesis a while ago and I had a plot a graph and add the trendline but I didnt want to include the trendline inside the legend because it was pretty straightforward I like you dont need to like I dont want this in there because it was basically just a random table and random graph of this y-axis so thats the title of the in the legend here of this blue line this just blue graphing data points right here and thats y axis but I dont want to show it this linear axis or I mean this linear y-axis label this is referred to this trend line right here and you could easily get rid of it just by selecting this and pressing delete Ill do undo right now thats all I want to show you could just do that with Excel or if you want to remove this from that you just delete that so you could

In Excel, select the category title and then in the Home tab, click Sort Filter Filter. Next, click the drop-down arrow to select the data you want to show, and deselect the data you dont want to show.

To change the format of the legend, under Labels, click Legend, click Legend Options, and then make the format changes that you want.
Remove the chart title If you dont want any title in your Excel graph, you can delete it in two ways: On the Design tab, click Add Chart Element Chart Title None. On the chart, right-click the chart title, and select Delete in the context menu.
On the Layout tab, in the Labels group, click Data Labels, and then click None. Click a data label one time to select all data labels in a data series or two times to select just one data label that you want to delete, and then press DELETE. Right-click a data label, and then click Delete.
On the Layout tab, in the Labels group, click Legend. Do one of the following: To hide the legend, click None. Tip: To quickly remove a legend or a legend entry from a chart, you can select it, and then press DELETE.
How to Make a Legend Box Bigger in Excel Click the legend box. Click an individual data label in the legend. Click Home in Excels ribbon. Click the Increase Font Size icon in the ribbons Font tab until the label is the size you want. Repeat the previous three steps with each of the legends data labels.
