hi Brad from WP sites dotnet lets take a look at removing the background image in the page header using the showcase Pro theme so lets take a look at the demo and we can see here on a single page theres a background image added so if we edit the page well see that the featured image here displaces a background image now a member from the Genesis WP community wants to remove that image because apparently doesnt look very good so what we will need to do is we need to modify the function which adds this image so if we go into the theme showcase proteins functions file and you scroll down to line 320 youll find the default function so here it is here it uses WP get attachment image to pull the featured image and add it in line here okay so we need to modify this output and remove the background image they want to retain the title and all the other stuff there so this is a fair bit going on in this function so we only need to modify a little bit so lets take a look at the modified
