hi everyone dennis foley from acoustic fields today were going to talk about near field resolution i do a lot of traveling so i have a little rig set up in in my hotel room where i have a little three inch active monitor and three inch driver and a little tweeter dome tweeter and stuff and uh ive been sitting near field obviously because i sit at a desk and whats amazing to me is the resolution that you get from a small driver i mean it its able to move faster theres less mass i get it i get all the physics behind it but the psychoacoustic benefit of sitting near field and listening is is really amazing and um for for i think i dont know i might have a thousand dollars in in my rig in my hotel room but the bottom line here is the resolution isnt canning and you know if youre sitting two and three four feet away from a speaker the resolution should be good because our electronics today are really good so what do we have when were sitting near fields well we have no room sound

You need to modify the Field Configuration used by that project. Search for the field you want to be mandatory and click the Required option.
You can set a field required by adding a field configuration and a field configuration scheme. Its the same as with mapping workflows to issue types. You create the field configuration where you mark your specific fields as required, and in the field configuration scheme, you map it to an issue type.
Make a field required or optional To make a field mandatory when used through Jiras user interface, click the Required link associated with that field. The text Required appears next to the fields name. To make a field optional, click the Optional link associated with that field.
There are 3 ways to make custom fields required. Click on gear icon then Setup Object Manager. Choose the object Page Layouts. Select the page layout that you use on the object. Resolution is a system Field and its always mandatory. You cannot make it optional from Configuration scheme. You need to remove it from create/edit screen and try creating a task. Try removing it and create a new task.
Create a new custom field Select Issues. Under FIELDS, select Custom fields. Click Create custom field. Select the type of field you want to create and click Next. Add the details for your field. When you have entered the field details, select Create.
To make a field required: From your projects sidebar, select Service project settings Request types. Select the request type you want to edit. Select the field you want to make required in your list of fields.
