[Music] hey guys welcome back to salesforce made simple in todays video were going to discuss salesforce flow record variables and how to use them to create records in the salesforce database so the benefits of using a record variable are that you can quickly reference any field of a particular record elsewhere in your flow and they also allow you to properly bulkify your flow so if you need to make 10 records at once you can use record variables to do it without hitting dml limits so im going to jump over to salesforce here and i have a very simple flow already set up if youre not familiar with how screenflows work or how they can work what ive done over here is ive created a single variable this is not a record variable called account id and what this is going to let me do is start the flow by entering an account id from salesforce and so i have an account open here called the united oil and gas account and i can pull this id from the url and i can simply pass it into the flow
